Toothless grins

The tooth fairy has a made a few visits to our house lately. Both girls lost one of their top front teeth. Taylor finally lost her second one yesterday (she lost the other top tooth months ago) and Sam has lost both top front teeth now too (hers were much closer together).

Daddy's Helper

We finally picked up a big bed for Jackson this weekend. Paul was putting it together and Jackson got out his tools to help.

Jackson taking his turn with the drill...
Checking out their work...The bed is put together. The next step is taking down the crib and changing the room from a nursery to a little boy's room. It should be a fun project as I've never done a little boy's room before. I'm sure I'll be getting out the paintbrush soon!

Crazy Sleepers

So this is where Jackson has been ending up most mornings as of late. He's been climbing out of his crib for awhile (need to get him his own bed...hopefully soon!). He used to come into our room during the middle of the night or early morning and find me but the last month or so he seems to wander into Samantha's bed. Good thing she's a extremely sound sleeper because she never seems to notice. Plus, he always has to climb over her to get to the side by the wall and he's never very gentle. The other morning I found him laying sideways across Sam's bed and and she was shoved down to the bottom half. She didn't even remember him being in her bed. I wish I slept that soundly!

Christmas card

We took some family pictures this summer when we were in Iowa and thought I'd use them for a Christmas card. Well, I just ordered them today (a little later than usual as a Merry Christmas/Happy New Year card) but thought I'd post a picture here so some of you will see it before Christmas. If you're in the midwest your card will be in the mail soon. Better late than never, right? =)

Rainy Daze (Days)

Well, I seem to be averaging one post a month so I'll try to bump my average up this month. I don't know if that means our lives are too busy or too boring =). Anyway, it's a rainy day today and it looks like more cold and rain through the week. This means lots of inside time for a little boy who has a lot of energy to burn.
The temps have definitely cooled down from last week. It's cooled down enough that there was a possibility of the rain turning into snow in our area. While the girls waited for the bus this morning we saw some snowflakes/slush come down for a few minutes but that's about it.
This is Jackson's favorite "new" toy. Ava let Jackson take this race track home from Iowa as he wouldn't tear himself away from it. They brought it out the last day we were in Iowa. He liked it so much that when we were opening Christmas gifts and it was his turn, he cried because we made him stop playing to open a present.

Jackson's always happy when he has cars to play with!!

All Dressed Up...

Saturday evening we went trick or treating of course. The girls were super excited and Jackson could not have cared less. He didn't mind wearing his costume but he had no interest in candy. In fact, the only candy he likes is suckers (as seen in the picture below) and the rest he ignores. Wonder how long that will last??
The zebra. Taylor picked this costume out when she was two so now it was Jackson's turn. He didn't demand to each lunch or sleep in it though as Taylor did. When she was two she lived in this outfit for a week or two.
Playing with toys...

Taylor was (is) an angel =)
Samantha was once again a princess, this year Snow White (a blond version).

Trying to get Jackson to stop playing and take a picture before we left.

The full view...
All three kids (Jackson was crying under there, his face is hidden).

We stopped by family and friends before hitting a few houses around the neighborhood. When we stopped by Grandpa and Grandma's, Jackson bypassed the candy and went straight to the playroom to find the cars. He would have been content to stay there for the rest of the night.

Pumpkin Patch

We finally made it to the pumpkin patch this past weekend (and I'm finally getting around to blogging).
The kiddos posing...I should have zoomed in but I was in a hurry trying to beat Jackson before he ran away (which he actually did while we were there but that's another story).

Too cute!!
Jumping!!

We went with some friends to the patch and the girls had lots of fun.

So many pumpkins! Yes, most of the pictures are of Jack. The girls were mostly off doing their own thing.

Going for a ride to pick out our pumpkins!
